Ma Purdy 

Marcia “Ma” Purdy is an “Out” Ally trainer and development presenter as well as an instructor at Iowa State University, working to train current and future teachers on making schools safe for LGBT students. In addition to her work as an educator, Ma Purdy also supports the LGBT community through her role as a ceremonial officiant specializing in same sex weddings.

In order to spread the word about Ma Purdy I created a personal identity that reflects her motherly yet sassy personality as well as her commitment to diversity. A dualistic website was also designed and developed with one side dedicated to Ma's work as a social justice educator and the other to her role as a ceremonial officiant.
